Sørheim Fjordpanorama should be a special experience. The cabin is located on Bergheim , right at the edge of the cliff above Feigum. Here you can look down on Feigesagi and hear the roar of Feigefossen with its 218 meters of free fall.

About the cabin
The cabin has all the amenities of a luxury hotel room, but it is designed for self-catering. You will find a fully equipped kitchen. Although the cabin is small, it has a refrigerator, combined oven/microwave, hob, extractor fan and dishwasher.
The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower with a view. There is underfloor heating throughout the first floor.
The bedroom is located on the second floor with a large double bed. To get up you have to climb a ladder.
Since the cabin is located on the edge of the “pulpit”, you of course have a fantastic view. But it is also not safe to walk around the edge of the cliff towards the fjord. Families with small children must take this into account when booking a stay here. All movements outside the cabin are at your own risk. If you have a particular fear of heights, this may not be the place for you?
The first floor is 23 square meters and the loft is 20 square meters. The ceiling height of the loft is two meters at the front and 1.15 meters at the back.
To get to the cabin from the fjord, we have to follow a 2.5 km long tractor road, and at the cabin we are 350 meters above the fjord. We offer transport on the tractor road for NOK 850,- (round trip). If you want to walk the 350 meters in altitude, there is of course the opportunity to do so. (Bring a backpack, not a suitcase). If you have a car with four-wheel drive and good ground clearance, you can drive up yourself. We must be notified of this in order to open the barrier.

Fjordpanorama lies midway between the world heritage church at Ornes and the end of the world's longest fjord, Skjolden. Fjordpanorama is located 350 meters above sea level and is the closest neighbor to Feigefossen, 218 m free fall.

Modern facilities
The cabin has two floors. Living room and kitchen/shower and toilet on the first floor, and sleeping accommodations on the second floor. With large windows in front of the living room and double bed, you will have the feeling of hanging over the fjord with a fantastic view of the landscape and the wild mountains around. To make the offer exclusive, both water and electricity are provided.
A completely unique cabin
The cabin was designed by the local company Tone Berget Tegning, together with Thomas Sørheim Evjestad. The choice of interior material, interior and lighting is made by an interior architect. There is only one such cabin and there is only one such cabin plot!
Sustainability and local trade
The application for a building permit was submitted in 2018. From the start, sustainability has been emphasized throughout the entire process. Local business has been done and local contractors and suppliers have been used throughout the project. In addition, there has been a lot of personal effort in everything from ideas, planning, applications, site work and construction. Good water is obtained from borehole water 50 meters below Bergheim .
The whole world to yourself
On Sørheim Fjordpanorama you will have the "whole world" to yourself. Here you will be alone on the mountain shelf with the abandoned Hilstorian farms. There is a good tractor road from the fjord and up the 350 meters in altitude to the farm on Bergheim The "old house" from the 18th century still stands here.
The last of the two farms was vacated in 1967. At that time, there was only a steep path leading up to the farms. The tractor road was built in 1992.
On the cliff towards Feigum
The cabin is located 300 meters south of the farmyard, right on the cliff towards Feigum. The wild terrain around the cabin offers spectacular views, and all traffic outside the cabin walls must be done with respect for nature and wildlife and is entirely at your own risk.
